Annelle's first day of work. J & D at school meeting. So Bert and I spent the day exploring some of midcoast Maine. Bath and Wiscasset. LL Bean in Freeport. Lots of water crossings. Hoards at Bean (back to school is on the way up here). More exploring before beers at Re Ra's Irish pub. Then one more house to see (sigh). Cute, but not for us. Then a delicious dinner that included some of the best mussels (Anne, you need to try these)I've ever eaten, along with the last extended view of the ocean that I'll have for a while.
So I'm back to Athens very early in the morning. Maybe we'll have a house up here someday soon. Fingers crossed.
